Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 November 2026  ·  https://seeitflow.com

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using SeeItFlow. By using the platform you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. About SeeItFlow

SeeItFlow ("we", "us", "our") is an engineering education platform that provides animated visualizations, written explanations, interactive diagrams, audio narrations and system-design deep-dives for software engineers and computer science learners.

These Terms govern your access to and use of the SeeItFlow website, web application, and all associated content (collectively, the "Service").

SeeItFlow is operated by Mangesh Mandlik, Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

2. Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, SeeItFlow grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:

  • Access and view content on the platform for your own personal, non-commercial learning and educational purposes.
  • Replay, pause and navigate visualizations as intended by the platform's controls.
  • Take personal notes and occasional screenshots solely for private study. Screenshots must not be published, shared publicly or used as a substitute for accessing the original content.
  • Share a direct link to any SeeItFlow page.
  • Quote brief excerpts for commentary, criticism or teaching, with clear attribution and a link to the original page, consistent with applicable fair-use or fair-dealing provisions.

No other rights are granted. SeeItFlow is a free, public site — no account, sign-in or payment is required to access any content. Signing in with Google is optional; see Section 3.

3. Optional Accounts and Personalized Features

You can use all of SeeItFlow without an account. If you choose to sign in with Google, we create an account that enables personalized features: saved lesson progress, bookmarks ("Save for later"), Continue Learning and the My Learning page, available on any device where you sign in. Signing in is subject to Google's own terms; how we handle the information we receive is described in our Privacy Policy.

  • Your responsibilities: keep access to your Google account and devices secure, and tell us if you believe your account has been used without your permission. Signing out ends the session on the current device.
  • Appropriate use: do not access or attempt to access another user's data or any account or API you are not authorised to use; do not probe, overload, bypass or interfere with the sign-in system, rate limits or other safeguards; and do not use scripts to create, inflate or falsify progress or bookmarks.
  • Deletion by you: you can permanently delete your account at any time under Account & Privacy (from My Learning). This removes your profile, progress, bookmarks, Continue Learning history and sessions, and cannot be undone.
  • Suspension or termination: we may disable or remove an account that is used in breach of these Terms or that puts the Service or other users at risk. Your access to the public lessons is not affected.
  • Availability: personalized features are provided as-is. We do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, and learning progress is a study aid, not a certificate or record of qualification.

4. Prohibited Activities

Other than the personal-study uses and brief, attributed quotations permitted in Section 2, you must not, and must not permit any third party to:

  • Copy, reproduce, download, print, bulk-screenshot or systematically extract any article, explanation, diagram, animation, visualization or audio narration from the Service.
  • Publish or publicly share screenshots of SeeItFlow content — including on social media, blogs, YouTube, newsletters or any other platform.
  • Republish or mirror any SeeItFlow content — in whole or in part — on another website, platform, newsletter, course, YouTube channel or any other medium.
  • Redistribute, sub-license, sell, rent, lend or otherwise transfer access to SeeItFlow content to any third party.
  • Create derivative works — including alternative learning platforms, training datasets, AI fine-tuning corpora or course materials — using content sourced from SeeItFlow.
  • Use automated tools (scrapers, bots, spiders, headless browsers or similar) to copy, bulk-download, or systematically extract or reproduce content from the Service. This does not restrict legitimate search-engine crawlers or accessibility tools accessing the Service solely to index or render pages consistent with our published robots.txt.
  • Circumvent, disable or interfere with any technical protection measure applied to the Service.
  • Frame or embed any SeeItFlow page or visualization within another website without prior written permission.
  • Use content from SeeItFlow to train, evaluate or benchmark any machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble any portion of the Service, except to the extent applicable law permits despite this restriction.
  • Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law or the rights of any third party.

5. Intellectual Property

The original content created for SeeItFlow — including articles and written explanations, system-design walkthroughs, animated visualizations, diagrams and illustrations, audio narrations, interactive simulations, the source code written for SeeItFlow, and its name, logos and branding — is owned by SeeItFlow and protected by copyright, trademark and other applicable intellectual-property laws.

The original selection, arrangement and presentation of that content — such as its learning paths and learning journeys — may also be protected as a compilation. Protection applies to SeeItFlow's own expression, not to the underlying facts, ideas, concepts, protocols, algorithms or standard engineering knowledge that the content explains; anyone remains free to learn and write about those topics in their own words.

Third-party software used to build the Service (such as open-source libraries, icons and fonts) is not owned by SeeItFlow and remains subject to its own licence terms.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual-property rights to you. The limited licence in Section 2 does not constitute a sale or assignment of any right, title or interest in or to the content.

All trademarks, service marks and trade names displayed on the Service are proprietary to SeeItFlow or their respective owners. Technologies, protocols, products and companies depicted, named or illustrated in SeeItFlow's educational content (for example, in architecture diagrams or system walkthroughs) remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced solely for descriptive, educational purposes; such references do not imply any affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement. You may not use any SeeItFlow trademark without prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SeeItFlow disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that any content is complete, accurate or up to date. Educational content reflects engineering best practices at the time of creation and may not reflect the latest industry developments.

7. Advertising and Third-Party Links

SeeItFlow may display third-party advertisements and may link to external websites. We do not control those advertisers or websites and are not responsible for their content, products, services or practices. Visiting a third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms and policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SeeItFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
