SeeItFlow never requires an account or payment to read lessons. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google tells us your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile picture, and we store them to operate your account. We never receive or store your Google password. If you do not sign in, we do not collect these.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, modules and lessons viewed, learning-player and simulator interactions, and the search terms you enter in the site's search box, collected via Google Analytics (GA4).
- Device and browser data: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, language, referring URL and approximate location (country, region or city), as reported by GA4. GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses; it uses the IP address of a request only to derive approximate location.
- Hosting and delivery data: SeeItFlow is delivered through Cloudflare. To serve, cache and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address, the requested URL, browser and device information, and request headers, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
- Advertising data: This site loads Google's AdSense script. Google and its advertising partners may collect data via cookies or similar technologies — such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, and pages viewed — to serve and measure ads. See Section 6 (Advertising) below.
Account and learning data (signed-in users only)
- Learning progress: the lessons you mark complete, the lessons you save for later, and your most recently visited lessons (the latest 10, recorded after a short reading time) are stored against your account so they sync across your devices. Anonymous visitors cannot record progress, and nothing about their learning is saved.
- Sessions: signing in creates a session that lasts up to 30 days; we store only a hashed form of the session token, not the token itself.
- Importing earlier browser progress: before accounts existed, completed lessons were saved only in your browser. After you sign in we ask whether to import them (Import now, Remind me later or Don't import). They are sent to us only if you import, and the browser copy is removed once the import succeeds.
Information stored on your device
- Session cookie: see Section 5.
- Browser storage (localStorage): a non-secret flag recording that this browser has signed in before (so the page can show your account quickly), any earlier-version progress awaiting import, and your import choice (remind later or don't import). None of these grants access to your account.
- Session storage: short-lived markers, cleared when you close the tab, that prevent repeated automatic reloads after a site update and repeated lesson-visit updates. They are not used to identify you.
